 We Offer Side Saddle Instruction

My aim when teaching side saddle is to create the safest seat and most elegant picture I can...when these are achieved, the rider should be in a position to ride almost any horse and be able to get the best performance from that horse...

We Breed Caspian Horses

'The Caspian is a small horse standing between 10.2hh and 12.2hh.
The breed was rediscovered by the shores of the Caspian Sea in 1965 and is considered to be the oldest equine in existence apart from the Asiatic Wild Horse.
Although now being bred in the UK, Scandinavia, Australia and USA as well as Iran, they remain relatively few in number. They are predominantly either bay, grey or chestnut and their calm and willing temperament makes them ideal as a lead-rein or first ridden equine. They are co-operative and easy to break both for riding and driving. They also have great natural jumping ability.'

We Also Breed Our Patterdale Terriers

As described on the PTCA web site...'The breed has an historical background dating back a hundred years in the Lakes Region of Northern England. These small terriers are used primarily for ground dwelling vermin. In the USA, some have been used for wild boar and raccoon as an addition to the traditional earth quarry.
The Patterdale is a working terrier known for its courage and tenacity. Stories abound relating to the willingness of this breed to work endlessly while in the earth.
The Patterdale Terrier is also gaining recognition as an excellent companion dog by being considerably more laid-back and tractable than some other working terrier breeds.
The bonding traits of the Patterdale give them an overwhelming desire to please their owners whether working or playing.
In the home, the Patterdale is affectionate, gentle and very active. They bask in the attention of their person.....'
